Every summer feels like the one you will remember, and then the next one shows up and does the same trick. This year is different on paper: the country turns 250, and the island decided to dress for it. Summer Since 1776 is a sunset poster with the surfboards standing in the sand and AMERICA 250 across the bottom, the kind of thing you would have found tacked up in a surf shop in a year with a lot fewer cars. Island Style 1776 puts a sea turtle on a surfboard, hibiscus along for the ride, carving a wave that started rolling a long time ago. Shaka To Freedom is a shaka hand throwing the sign over the water with the wave curling underneath. American Summer Club, Beach Days 1776, Waves of Freedom, Red White Beach and Flip Flops Freedom round out the flag side, and Lani the Tiki stands guard on a plain white tee for the one who wants the island without the fireworks.
