The flamingo who takes the pickup game a little too seriously
Every beach volleyball game has one. Everybody else wandered over from their towels, nobody is keeping score, and then there is the one player who is fully airborne over the net with a look that says this point matters. On this shelf, that player is a flamingo. Spike It Like Its Hot has her mid-air above the ball, one wing cocked, sand spraying off the launch, the lettering stacked beside her like a scoreboard.
