The Arrivals Gate (Flip-Flops Required)

I was going to open with a long story about the ocean, but the collection can speak for itself, so let me just hold the door: New Tees Just In is live. I have already picked a favorite, changed my mind, and picked another favorite. This is normal. Everything's fine.

Here is what this collection is, in plain terms: the designs that just landed, gathered in one place before they wander off to live their lives elsewhere on the site. Think of it as the arrivals gate... minus the luggage carousel, plus considerably better outfits.

Entering the water, dramatically

There is a whole school of thought in this collection about how a person should meet the ocean. Suitcase Cannonball says you did not even stop to unpack. Umbrella Swan Dive says you brought style (and possibly a cocktail garnish). Cannonball Season and Shave Ice Cannonball agree on method and differ only on the snack. Island Time Dive takes its sweet time on the way down, as it should. The splash zone was clearly marked. Nobody listened.

The gentle art of doing less

Professional Napper Beach Division is a job title some of us have been quietly working toward for years. New Year Same Hammock is the rare resolution you can actually keep. Best Plan No Plan is the entire operating manual. And if you have ever answered one last email with your toes in the sand ~ Whale Season Out of Office was made with you in mind.

Small accidents, worn proudly

Should Have Reapplied is for anyone who learned about sunscreen the honest way. Phone in the Ocean commemorates a moment of freedom nobody plans and everybody secretly envies. Pina Collide-a... I will let that one explain itself when you see it. Stuck the Flip Flop scores the landing we have all attempted at least once, barefoot, on hot sand, with witnesses.

Who this collection is for

It is for people who would rather be at the water and dress accordingly, even in a meeting. The ones carrying Windows Down Worries Out energy on the whole drive over. The ones who Start the Year Barefoot and see no reason to change course by March. If you read Hang Ten and nodded slowly, you are already one of us. Smoothie Operator, you know exactly who you are.

Why it exists

Because the island keeps handing us moments worth printing (a Sunday that became a week, a whale that interrupted the schedule, a beach ball that found its own tide pool), and the newest ones land here first. Rainbow in a Cup exists because sometimes the sky shows off and somebody has to take notes. Mele Kalikimaka Mind the Sunburn exists because somebody finally said the quiet part out loud. Bloom Loud exists because quiet was never really the plan.

So take your time and have a look around. The collection is not going anywhere, and neither, if you play it right, are you.
